The Best Gift Ever!!!!

Well, I think today was the best Christmas I have ever had. For beginners, I got a new CD w/ Fm tuner that I have wanted for some time.
But, you can't compare sour gummy worms, gift cards and a body/lotion kit to a ONE YEAR PASS TO BUSCH GARDENS!!
To the best of my knowledge, I think that the gift I got today (Busch Gardens) was the best gift I have ever had.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas like I did. Maybe you didn't spend today at Busch Gardens like I did, but I hope you had a great time wherever.
So, today will probably be the last time I get to say it, so MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day Lyrics

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote this beautiful song. At the top of the page, there is a video of Casting Crowns singing it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth good will to men
*******************************
And the bells are ringing
In my heart I hear them
Like a choir they're singing
Peace on earth, good will to men
*******************************
And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men
*******************************
But the bells are ringing
Like a choir they're singing
Does anybody hear them?
Peace on earth, good will to men
*******************************
Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men
********************************
Then ringing singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men
*******************************
And the bells they're ringing
Like a choir they're singing
And with our hearts we'll hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men
******************************
Do you hear the bells they're ringing?
The life the angels singing
Open up your heart and hear them
*******************************
Peace on earth, good will to men
Peace on earth, Peace on earth
Peace on earth, Good will to men
Richer or Poorer
This Christmas there are a lot of people celebrating with a grand meal, lots of expensive presents, family from all around, near and far and huge trees decorated with beautiful ornaments.
There are also people who are homeless. They probably won't have a decent meal to satisfy their hungry needs, a warm bed with cozy blankets to warm them in the cold winter night. They probably won't have a single present and they won't be having a decorated tree. They are going to be alone, tired, and hungry. Nobody will probably say Merry Christmas. And if so, they will probably be thinking, "It isn't a merry Christmas, its a sad Christmas."
No family or friends. Only cardboard to sleep on, food that has been scavenged from behind restaurants or dumpsters. There will only be loneliness, tears, and coldness.
Christmas is tomorrow. I ask that you take just a couple of minutes and think of the people who will not be fortunate this Christmas.
I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
::I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day::
I don't know how to explain it, but I get this rejuvenated and refreshed feeling whenever I hear this song. It means so much to me when Christmas comes near. I put the video on the top of the page so you can listen to it. I hope that it gives you a good feeling when you hear it.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
("I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" has been moved to the bottom of the page, due to it being past Christmas.")
BANK FIREWALLS CRACKED BY CYBERHACKERS
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/0890892c-e68b-11de-98b1-00144feab49a.html
Bank firewalls cracked by cyberhackers
By Joseph Menn in San Francisco
Published: December 11 2009 19:47 Last updated: December 11 2009 19:47
For more than a decade the common currency among cybercriminals has been pilfered credit card numbers, but some underground hackers have learned how to drain money directly from corporate bank accounts.
There has been a big rise in such frauds, raising the stakes in the war between financial institutions and criminals and costing some bank clients half a million dollars – or more.
The cyberhackers “are clearly ahead of the defence in terms of antivirus solutions, firewall solutions, etc,” Jeffrey Troy, chief of the FBI’s cybercrime section, told the Financial Times. Online bank thefts in 2009 had seen “a very dramatic increase from past years”.
Law enforcement warnings, recent reports from private security experts and lawsuits are focusing attention on the issue. Some professionals, citing the ongoing boom in virus infections through such social networks as Facebook and Twitter, fear the trends could combine in 2010.
Mr Troy estimated that criminals took about $40m from bank accounts this year, primarily targeting the small and mid-sized businesses that are themselves customers of small and mid-sized banks.
Such banks and their clients were less likely than their biggest competitors to have the highest-grade security procedures.
Targets have fallen victim to “spear phishing” and other tricks. In spear phishing, a misleading e-mail, instant message or social networking communication is aimed at one company or even a single person within that company, frequently a top executive. The message can be tailored convincingly with details of interest to that individual.
As with many generic phishing attacks that go to millions of users, the point is often to get the recipient to click on a link that installs software for surreptitiously logging keystrokes, so that passwords and account numbers can be recorded and transmitted over the internet to the hacker.
Aiming at small groups means that security programs that look for copies of previously reported attacks are less likely to recognise the software.
One of the most prevalent programs for stealing banking passwords, Zeus, can be bought and modified by anyone for about $700, Cisco Systems said in annual security study released this week.
Through both phishing and silent installs via compromised websites, Zeus has landed on some 3.6m machines. Another virus, URLZone, can rewrite online banking statements so that pilfered money does not appear to be missing.
Some businesses have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars to thieves employing such tools. While banks typically indemnify consumers for online fraud losses that are spotted quickly, they can take a harder line against corporate clients. Such disputes are coming into the open with the first lawsuits over banking breaches.
This month a Baton Rouge equipment seller called JM Test Systems sued US bank Capital One. The suit says JM Test noticed an unauthorised $45,640 wire transfer to a Moscow bank a day after it went through.
Although the company complained immediately and Capital One pledged to investigate, it allegedly failed to freeze the account and a second fraudulent withdrawal of $51,556 went through six days later. The bank has refunded less than $8,000 of the losses, according to the suit, which accuses Capital One of having unreasonably lax procedures. The bank declined to comment, citing the litigation.
Banks were modifying their systems, said Mr Troy, but they had problems with authenticating account holders.
The same problem exists on the internet – and has been exacerbated with the trend toward shortened web links that deliberately compress – and disguise – the address of websites as they are passed along in e-mails or other messages.
Many social media users placed such trust in material posted by friends and colleagues “that they don’t stop to consider the dangers of clicking on an unidentifiable link”, Cisco found.
Day's Events
Well, another day of sheer boredom. But, then again, not exactly.
-I got a phone call asking about my Craigslist things I was selling (My furniture) that I have been trying to get rid of for about a month. Hopefully I'm going to sell it soon.
-I worked in the garden building a magnificant mud barrier to seperate my garden area from the grass. Its looks pretty good....I'm just not finished. Got about...........3 or more feet to still build. I will most likely complete it in the next two days or less....or more.
-I bugged my cat. Ya, not with the 'ear' device people hide so they can eavesdrop on passing conversations, but the
tantalizing, picking on, petting type of bugging. LOL
Anyway.....my day was not very exciting. How about your's?
[Focus]
Today I was watching something and a certain phrase caught my attention. It was talking about focusing on things that were happening now instead of focusing (and worrying) on things that were going to happen in the future. I tweeted the sentence after giving it some thought and I changed it to this;
"Don't focus on what's going to happen in the future, focus on what's happening now."
After I tweeted it I thought I should have put it as this;
"Don't focus on what's going to happen in the future but on what's happening now."
But, somethings you can't change....at least I haven't figured out how to 'edit' tweets.
Why I am telling you this....I have no clue. All I know is that it caught my attention and kinda taught me to look and live one day at a time instead of worrying what was going to happen the next day to the future........
The Three F's
Well today I went to church and my Pastor preached an exciting message on "Are You Happy?". When the sermon ended I wrote in my Bible, "The Three F's to be happy".
Because this was a very interesting message to me, I figured I would tell you my notes I wrote.
"Are You Happy?"
-If you're not right with God, how can you be happy?
-People should live by faith, not fate.
Psalm 146
1. Focus on the happenings from God.
2. Find the Biblical ingredients in the Bible and apply them to your daily life.
3. Figure yourself to be happy.
"We focus on things we don't have then what we do have therefore we are not happy."
Focus on the things that God allowed you to go through or have.
Find the things you need to hear or see in the Bible to help you with what you are going through.
Figure yourself to be happy with the things you have gone through, what you have, and what is going to happen because no matter what, you can always be happy through the hardest times and also the easiest times with the LORD right by your side.
So...focus, find, and figure.
Merry Christmas
Well, today we got our first Christmas card from our dear neighbor. It reminds me to put up some Christmas lights. Although we didn't have them last year.....we have to have them this year. I wonder....are you going to put some up? We just have those plain white ones....anyhow, they are all pretty just the same.
Soo....I hope you all had a great day today. I did and I'm sooo excited about it being December 1! Which means I'll have to put a count-down thing on my blog to remind us how many days it is till Christmas. :)
Anyway...............MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
What Christmas is Really About
Christmas is right around the corner but do you ever wonder what it really means?
Luke 2 -King James Version
1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
A New Direction
I'm taking a new direction on my blog. Lately I'v been so unfaithful to my blog, you're all wondering..."What happened". Well, I sorta just flunked in keeping up my blog.
Now, I'm going to start taking a new direction. I really haven't been keeping up my blog cause there is never somthing interesting to tell you all about that's going on with me, but I realize I could always write things that inspired me such as lyrics to songs, poems...ect. You know, that sort of thing.
So....I'm taking a new direction on what I write about.
Silly Time
OK, I was eating my lunch and I decided to go out to the deck next to the pool to eat. Well, the dog, Samson, quickly noticed I had sandwiches and wanted them. So, back inside I went to sit at the dining room table. What do you know, the cat came over and wanted my food too. So I came up with this very silly song. Here it is.
The cat was a beggar
She walked paw from paw to paw
She wanted my food
She wanted my food
The cat was a beggar
She walked paw from paw to paw
She wanted my food
She wanted my food.
The tune goes to "The King and the Beggar" and its the chorus.
My Adorable Cat
These are some pictures of my adorable cat, Tinker. Well, now you finally see the center of attention... the cat is my center of attention. HEHE.
The Cruise
In August, my dad took my brother and I on a Carnival cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. We went on the fun ship called Inspiration.
Here are some photo's of the cruise. Sorry, no pictures of me. LOL
(The elegant table setting. I took this picture myself)
(In the distance you can accidentally see my brother posing. Didn't know it was him.)
(One of the many shops at Puerta Maya Pier, which is where our ship, the Inspiration docked.)
(This on of the coolest pictures. The big fun ship, Inspiration, up REAL close. You can't see the mooring lines in this photo, but they were HUGE!)
(The Brasserie. The best place for 24 hr. ice cream, drink, and pizza services. I loved the ice cream.)
That's all for now. Hoped you enjoyed looking at some of the pictures from the fun 5 day vacation I had in August!!!
Thoughts...
Thoughts are whirling through my mind like a propeller on a gigantic airliner.
I am thinking of so many things I have finally received a headache.
I am wondering on how things are just so
How come they can't be different
Why is some people so idiotic?
Why are people so 'sorry' ?
If someone can see me hurting,
Why isn't anyone talking to me?
Why is just a sympathetic glance thrown at me in like...disgust?
I don't think I'm the only one here.
Its a whole universe.
I'm being singled out by my best friend
I'm being punished for committing
I'm being tortured by these thoughts...
Why??
This is something I wrote.
My Eyes Mean......
I decided to find out what my eye color means so here it is....
I have Green eyes:
Green is the color of balance. Your eyes symbolize your ever need to learn. Green brings peace and harmony into our lives, as you may be a very optimistic person. At times you may be placid, lethargic, lazy, and slow, to the point of becoming moody and depressed. You may also be apathetic and have a fear rejection. Do not feel bad though, for what you may lack, you can in your ability to heal and bring hope to people. Some words to describe you: growth, fertility, harmony, healing, refreshing, peaceful, contentment, satisfaction, confidence, prosperous, hopeful, lucky, and beautiful.
Don't I think of such weird things to find out. Maybe tomorrow I'll look up on how to amputate your arm with out using a knife. LOL.......
Just Something 2 Say
I haven't really been faithful to my blogs lately all though I've added some new videos featuring David Meece!
Still......no excuse. Anyway, I had several things to do in school so I ended up finishing latter than I anticipated today. That's OK though....as long as you get your work done and get good grades.
Today happens to be Wednesday which means to church I go at 6:00 p.m. .
"WHOOPEE!!"
Soo not excited. There happens to be a slightly small problem though. You may not be feelin' up to goin' to church right now but when you get there you have a blast. LOL. Haven't really figured out the reason for that. Anyway, I'll have a great time right now till shower time. Have you ever realized that taking a shower and eating is such a waste of time. I complain every time even though I know I shouldn't. But, I know that I will have fun (Going to 180 that is). As of right now, I'm going to tweet and skip around on YouTube! Ain't that such a great expression.
Tomorrow I'll once again try to post something but I AM NOT promising. Maybe I'll tell you all about the most wonderful show called Bonanza. I could watch that show all day but I usually get a nice pounding headache....and yes, I have watched Bonanza all day once but ended up regretting that I ever did.............let's just say I got a nice little warning from a migraine headache not to ever do it again.
Look at this FAT cat!!!!! Found it on Google Images. ITS HILARIOUS!!!!
Does Anybody Hear Her?
This is a song I think everyone aught to hear. Here are the lyrics.
She is running
A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction
She is trying
But the canyon's ever widening
In the depths of her cold heart
So she sets out on another misadventure just to find
She's another two years older
And she's three more steps behind
(Chorus)
Does anybody hear her?
Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her?
Does anybody see?
She is yearning
For shelter and affection
That she never found at home
She is searching
For a hero to ride in
To ride in and save the day
And in walks her prince charming
And he knows just what to say
Momentary lapse of reason
And she gives herself away
(Chorus)
(2x)
If judgement looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we never even met her
Never even met her
(Chorus 2x)
He is running
A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction
Broken and Beautiful
There’s a businessman, there’s a widowed wife
A smiling face with a shattered life
A teenage girl with a choice to make
It’s crowded here in church today
And the preacher says as the sermon ends
“Please close your eyes, bow your heads
Is there anyone in need of prayer,
Oh Jesus wants to meet you here”
Cause we all fall short, and we all have sinned
But when you let, God’s grace break in
(Chorus)
It’s Beautiful, Beautiful
Come as you are
Surrender your heart
Broken and beautiful
Well he’d never been to church before
But he came today as a last resort
His world was crashing in
And he was suffocating in his sin
But tears rolled down as hope rushed in
He closed his eyes, raised his hands
Worshipping the God who can
Bring him back to life again
(Chorus)
Camp
I had two disposable camera's when I went to camp. I took several photos including one of me in the dorm. So every photo isn't the best quality. But, I still have some.
Here's all the girls in the dorm at Bill Rice Ranch.
Not the best quality but they look good in the photo's. Just not on the computer..... :(
Me, is the girl all the way to the bottom left. I'm wearing a blue (or is it purple?) shirt. I wasn't paying too much attention to the camera girl because I thought that this was a unnecessary photo. Turned out to be important. Talk about getting slapped in the back. :)
Wall Hugger
This is my grandparents cat. Her name is Ella Mae.
And she's a wall hugger.........
Evil Kitty Episode 3
Well, my kitty is officially 1 year old as of August 18, and she's officially a brat. OK, more definition, she's a evil kitty. What are the odds of going on vacation for a month to Tennessee(for 1 week) and staying in Dunnelon for about 3 weeks and then come home and stay home for 29 days and then leave again because Dad is taking you and your sibling(my case-brother) somewhere for a surprise and you end up going on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. Am I the coolest or what. Well in a way no, cause school starts in a couple of days for me. I'm homeschooled by the way. But anyway, what are the odds? So, I come home and look in my closet at my suitcase and wham! The whole side of it is torn up by Tinker. Wretched cat. I got to the point where I wanted to proclaim on Drudge Report ''FREE EVIL KITTY'' !!! HE HE, like anybody wants a evil kitty. But, I got over the suitcase because I got a brand new duffel bag which the bottom extends so more stuff can go in it. Oh and it says Hawaii on it in different colored letters. Cool huh.
Valiant Bride/ Brides Of Montclair Series- Jane Peart
Valiant Bride is one of the most read on my bookshelf. I am not lying for I can read this book over and over again. The book talks about a young lady (17) by the name of Noramary Marsh. She wakes up one morning to find out the her sister, who was to marry Duncan Montrose of Montclair, had run off with her french tutor and married him instead, while still engaged to Duncan!
Noramary's dreams crashed for she was madly in love with Robert Stedd who was studying to be a doctor, and that she was going to marry as soon as he inherits his inheritance.
But, God had other plans.
I won't tell you the rest for I want you to keep in suspense. :)
I very much recommend that you read this book. It is filled with teary sadness and wonderful happiness. I hope you find this book and read it.
Happy reading days!!!
Blog Layout
Well, I just finished putting a border, a header, a new layout, some blinkies, and widgets on my blog. As you see, it has changed. I hope you like it.
It was changed several times today. It was Horses and Butterfly's as of yesterday. As of now, I tried putting a Cat border, different layouts, borders, headers, and the such, but I ended up with this one. It is sorta like the original layout when I first started my blog in June. It has now gone through several changes. Of course, none of them has lasted. I'm always changing them.
Is that good? I don't really know. Anyway, I have to go to bed now. I'll write a post tomorrow. See ya!
P.S. It is 10:02 p.m. Thursday Night. August 13, 2009. Eastern Time Zone.
Just figured I'll tell you.
There Will Be A Day
I try to hold on to this world with everything I have
But I feel the weight of what it brings, and the hurt that tries to grab
The many trials that seem to never end,
His word declares this truth,that we will enter in this rest with wonders anew
But I hold on to this hope and the promise that He brings
That there will be a place with no more suffering
(Chorus)
There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face
But until that day, we'll hold on to you always
I know the journey seems so long
You feel you’re walking on your own
But there has never been a step
Where you’ve walked out all alone
Troubled soul don’t lose your heart
Cause joy and peace he brings
And the beauty that’s in store
Outweighs the hurt of life’s sting
But I hold on to this hope and the promise that He brings
That there will be a place with no more suffering
(Chorus)
There will be a day, with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day, when the burdens of this place, will be no more
We'll see Jesus face to face
But until that day, we'll hold onto you always
I can’t wait until that day where the very one I’ve lived for always will wipe away the sorrow that I’ve faced
To touch the scars that rescued me from a life of shame and misery this is why this is why I sing
There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face
There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face
There will be a day, he will wipe away the tears,
He will wipe away the tears,
He will wipe away the tears,
There will be a day.
~ Wilder Tower ~
For many of you who view this blog may or may not know that I do scrapbooking. If you go to my profile, you would see that I do. Also in the title of this blog (b2cp3s2w) it says S2 which standes for scrapbooking and swimming, a few of my interests.
Anyway, I was looking through one of my scrapbooks and came to the page about the Teen Trip I took in 2008 with some of the teens from the youth group at my church, along with our youth director and his wife. Well, we traveled from Hudson, Florida and ended up in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a BIG Impact Youth Conference. But in between we stopped at several places, like Rossville, Georgia. Very near the Chickamaguaga Battlefield. :) .
So while we were staying in Pastor's Quarters at Victory Baptist Church, we went to different places, including a beautiful waterfall and other places. Well the girls and I decided to go with our youth director to go get breakfast. The boys were.... well .... sleeping or goofing off, so in that case, the didn't get to go. OK, so there wasn't really any reason to take all 5. ( there were 3 girls and 2 boys that went. )
So just the girls and the youth director went. While we were on the road, our youth director decided to go to the battlefield while we were at it. That's where I saw and took a picture of the Wilder Tower. Which is in my scrapbook. So, after all those words, we get to the point. I saw the tower, took a picture, developed it, [ Thank the genius who invented disposable camera's for the kids who don't have a digital camera but, hey, I don't really need one. I'd take one to MANY pictures If I had one. ] and put it in my scrapbook.
That's what all this jabber jabber is about.
Jumpin' Jeppers, why did I tell you all of this? Will NEVER be known.
Lol
Anyway.........
HIDE AND try to SEEK me!
So, it all started yesterday, about ten minutes before we had to be at church for the evening service. Well the kitty isn't allowed to be out in the rest of the house because we can't trust her. The reason why is because she like to roam and when we leave, she jumps up onto the counter tops in the kitchen and gets her cute little nose into everything. My grandmother has seen it before. So, can't say its never happened. Anyway, I started looking for the kitty and I couldn't find her. So I told mom and we looked everywhere. But, not the place where she was :) . I even spilled some of her food into a treat canister and rattled it because every other time she comes running to receive a treat. That didn't work. In a matter of fact, nothing worked. So we had no choice but to leave because we had to be at church.
So after church we come home and as soon as I take off my shoes and put my purse, Bible, and notebook down, I immediately start looking for her. This time I started in my brother's room. My mom suggested that I should look into the closet. So I quickly went to the closet, and look under the dressers and around them never thinking that she could be laying on top of the long dresser. So I say, "she's not in here"! And I was about to back out and I noticed a paw hanging over the edge of the dresser on top. So I take a peek under all the suits to try to get a glimpse of what it is, AND THERE LAYS TINKER!!!!
I was SO mad at her. I think she hides on purpose and later laughs at me because I couldn't find her. So in that case, Tinker's new initials are now, T.T which standes for Tinker Belle Trouble. Funny huh.
Anyway, why I didn't post this yesterday..... well..... just don't ask. I don't feel like making an excuse to sound like an answer :) .
Palimino Bay
The palomino is such a magnificent horse. Today in 180, Our youth director mentioned a girl who comes to church, which made me think of her horse. So I figured that I should say a little about the beauty of the Palomino. But, the picture really says everything for its self. See for your self. It is a beautiful horse!
Never Let Go....
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back
I know You are near
And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?
*** Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me
And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We'll live to know
You here on the earth
And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?
Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You
I was on my favorite band website(Avalon) and I clicked on one of the new atists and I came across this peticular song and the words touched my heart(Music isn't the greatest at all) . I figured I'll post about it. :)
GUMMY BEAR!
OK, so who says I can't post an irregular topic. By means, RANDOM TOPIC!!!
So, during dinner I was thinking of the Gummy Bear song. What a random thought at dinner of all places, considering we were on the topic Animal Planet. Well, I was. Don't really know about the others. Anyway, I considered that maybe I should post this "random thought". Figured It just might mean something to you. Anyway, Who doesn't like gummy bears. Not the song but the actual candy. I don't. I love gummy bears. What about you. Tell me by leaving a very nice comment. I haven't received a comment yet and I have had this blog for nearly 2 months. Is that a good thing?
Pool
Yesterday I went into the pool for the first time all year. My brother had a friend over and we all jumped into the pool and actually made a real whirlpool. It was tiring and fun all at once.
HOME
I'M HOME!!!
Monday, July 27, 2009
Me being sick on the last days of camp.
Well, I haven't been home for weeks and as of now, I'm not home either. So, right now I'm on my Grammi's computer. Ya!!!
Well, camp was very cool. At least until Thursday at camp which was the 9th. That day after dinner I got really sick. So I walked to the cabin and went to bed. I was rudely awaken by my bunk buddy next to me. So I got up, and got dressed and then we went to church at the camp. During the whole sermon and everything, I was crying. My stomach hurt so bad. So after church was over, Miss. Lee (One of the girls counselor) took me to the nurse station. There I was given Pepto Bismo tablets. Those were NASTY! Anyway, I walked back to the cabin and slept. I woke up just in time to have the Pepto Bismo tablets kick in. The result, I threw up all over my bed. I was a total mess. I climbed down from the bunk and started crying really hard. Miss. Teresa (Another counselor) told me to go take a shower because I had stuff all over me. So I took a shower and meanwhile they stripped the bed and took the bedding to the wash room to wash. Then one of the room counselor (either Miss. Amy or Miss. Lindsey) ran to the nurse office to get some more sheets.
I was still sick for several more days. On Saturday the 11th I was running a 102.3 fever.
That was over 2 weeks ago but I still have a cough. Oh well...
Rain
Today it rained off and on. I like it when it rains because I love the sound of it when is falls onto the roof. Also I like it because I know my garden is getting plenty of water. :)
But, aside all of that; rain. What a neat creation. I think rain is truly amazing. Not only is it pretty but its made of water (which I believe everyone knows). Today while I was 'cleaning' my room I was thinking about water. Water is actually scarce in some country's. Here we have the luxury to take a shower, get a glass of water, bathe the cat or dog, soak your feet, water your garden or make Kool-Aid whenever we want. I've actually have gone through an ordeal where there was no water available to do those things above(except the glass of water). So I can say for the most part, I know what it is like.
Next time it rains in your area, think how much it really means. You can actually see something for once that no matter what, you would never be able to create. Only God can. Definently not the smartest scienctist.
Vacation/Camp
Hey, how are you doing. Me, great. I'll be leaving for camp Thursday. I can't wait! I'm so excited. So, let me tell you what's going on. I'm going to Tennessee July 4th but I'm leaving on the 2nd to go to my grandparents' house. I'll be there until Saturday. Then I'm leaving with about 50 other kids and teens who are also going, to go to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to go the the Bill Rice Ranch located in the mountains.
Traveling accommodations. I believe that there will be two seperate buses going. A Teen bus and a junior bus. Considering I'm a teen, I should be on the teen bus. When we drive up there we'll be driving at night! I hope I don't forget my snacks to nibble on. They include, JUNK!!!
So unhealthy right?
So the whole reason I'm going through the trouble to write this is to let my readers know I won't be posting for several weeks. Sorry, but... Its not like I'm going to go to the bank, to get a loan(Which I'm positive they won't give me one- I'm only 14) make a convenient stop at Best Buy to buy a high quality laptop with air Internet just to keep you updated. Couple words for you. Not Going To Happen. So... When I get back from my "vacation", I'll tell you all about it.
Well.... that's if I feel like typing it all. :)
You Raise Me Up
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
U a fool or not?
How big of a fool are you actually ?
MY EVIL KITTY: INCCIDENT 2
Today the unexpected thing accured. I have these little glass cups (they are quite fancy) sitting on my piano in my bedroom. Now, my piano has a pink sheet over it to keep the dust from going on it. Why? Because I'm SICK and TIRED of DUSTING!!!
So, the reason why I have the glass cups on my piano it too keep the sheet from falling down. There are filled with CLEAN rocks. That's for the weight of course. Anyway, I figured the sheet would keep Tinker off because she likes to sleep on the cover. Again, Anyway, this morning roughly about 7:00, I woke up to a CRASH! So I sit up. Like anybody else would do. The way my bed it positioned, I have direct eye view toward the piano. So I look up and there's Tinker standing amidst broken glass, rocks and little glass beads. (I put the glass beads in there for pretties. Rocks are p-l-a-i-n.) Man, was I mad. I probably said "I hate you" at least a dozen times. (Afterwards, I told her I was sorry. I figured I hurt her little feelings because her ears and tale was DOWN.)
Why I am telling you this. I don't know. Maybe its because Evil Kitty strikes back again. Like the Emperor Strikes Back on Star Wars.
Or maybe its because its another incident. Emphasis on incident.
Everything To Me
Today I was listening to a song called "Everything to Me" by Avalon.
Just listening to it made be think even harder than I was. Read the words. They mean so much...
I grew up in Sunday school,
I memorized the Golden Rule
And how Jesus came to set the sinner free
I know the story inside out,
And I can tell you all about
The path that led Him up to Calvary
But ask me why, He loves me,
And I don't know what to say
But I'll never be the same
Because He changed my life when He became...
Everything to me
He's more than a story
More than words on a page of history
He is the air that I breathe
The water I thirst for
And the ground beneath my feet
Oh He's everything, everything to me
We're living in uncertain times
And more and more I find that I'm aware
Of just how fragile life can be
I wanna tell the world I've found,
A love that turned my life around
They need to know that they can taste and see
Now everyday I'm praying
Just to give my heart away
I wanna live for Jesus, so that someone else might see that He is...
Everything to me
He's more than a story
More than words on a page of history
He's the air that I breathe
The water I thirst for
And the ground beneath my feet
Oh He's everything, everything to me...
You can listen to the song in the video area at the bottom of this page)
My EVIL Kitty
I have a cute kitty named Tinker. Well, don't let her adorable looks give you a GOOD impression. You have to watch her. First thing she's all lovey dovey than second thing she goes ARGH and she try's to BITE you. Believe me, its happened to me SEVERAL times. Anyway, she's 8 months old and her birthday is August 18 (She was born in 2008). Her breed is Domestic Short-haired and she's Tortoise shelled, which means she has all kinds of different colors for her coat. She has a defective paw. Well, not really. Its just a totally different color. All her other paws are black with brown but, that one back paw is a butterscotch color. My family and I are always saying we should paint it so it could match the others. Of course, we're just joking.
But, don't let me change the subject. Let me tell you what she did several days ago.
She has this thing about sitting in the windowsills and looking out side like all cats. Well, I don't see any problem with that. On the window there is this little piece of plastic that sticks up about oh... maybe two inches or more. Its there so when you shut the window, it seals it completely. Well, when she sits on the windowsill, she try's to get her WHOLE body between the screen and the piece of plastic, for there is about two or three inches between the two. So as she sits there hunched between the two. Well, after a while the screen comes lose. And it did, but at night. When she's SUPPOSED to be SLEEPING! Well, all of sudden during the night, I heard this ripping sound. Puzzled, I got up, turned on my bedroom light and what'd you. Tinker is LITERALLY TEARING AND PULLING THE SCREEN RIGHT OUT OF ITS FRAME! I WAS SHOCKED!!!! So there she was. In a hunched position ready to jump out of the window. First thing I thought of was High-Rise Syndrome. So I got up, grabbed her, quickly shut the window, and then I got bad. There I was. In my pj's, holding the cat, looking at the ruined screen. Man, I was MAD. Lucky that cat knows how to look so cute at you (right in the eyes of course) so you begin to feel bad for her. So I locked her in her cage and waited till I went asleep. So, the next morning I got up, let the cat out, fed her, got her some water and then I look at the damaged screen. That evening, I told my dad about it when he got home from his job. Lucky for me and Tinker, he's skilled and talented for fixing things. He fixed it in a matter of minutes. We still called Tinker, "Evil Kitty". Anyway, thank you for reading my little story. I hope it brought you to laughing. It sure didn't for me though.
New Video
I added another video at the bottom of this page again. This one is hilarious! Its a calico cat, female(all calico cats are usually female. very rare one is male) getting her daily exercise. If you crank the volume on it, you can hear her meow. Its soo cute.
Psalm 40:11
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Psalm 40:11
King James Version
Moher Cliffs in Ireland
Imagine getting tied up to skydiving equipment and getting pushed of the Moher Cliff. Wow, long ways down huh? Anyway, as you dive through the air, you roughly pull the cord and all of sudden you start floating in the air. You look down in time to see a boat awaiting your arrival. As soon as your feet touch the cold water, someone swims to you to free you of all that silk. You are pulled up into the boat and then you look up.
(the pics are air view)
Wow!!
And to think about it, God created that. He created everything.
You, me, even your friends!
Genesis 1:1
And in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Waterfalls are such peaceful creations.
Take a moment to thank God for creating
The Butterfly
Love is like a butterfly never here nor there
High or low
Not really watching where to go.
A first love is like a butterfly hatching out of a cocoon
We are amazed by the beauty of this new feeling.
True love is like a butterfly
Spreading its wings and starting towards the sky knowing that they want to have this forever.
Loosing love is like a butterfly
Laying its eggs then flying away to die
Leaving them in this big world all alone knowing nothing familiar only home.
Wanting for love is like a butterfly
Still as a caterpillar wanting those wings to be just like his friends.
Love is like a butterfly
Trying to spread its wing and fly
Love is like a butterfly
It can stay or it can die.
