Think About THIS

I'm SO sick of all the dipsticks in Washington [D.C]. $4 dollar gas prices effect a 16 yr. old too. It's called wanting to go places but can't cause it's a waste of gas. One thing I know is my dad's paycheck isn't going up like the gas & food prices. It's shameless how I'm the only teenager [that I know of] that actually knows what's REALLY going on in my own country. Why can't the younger generation stand up for America? Obviously the adults aren't . . .

All I'm saying is, it's up to us teenagers on how the future of our country goes. In 2 years, I'll be old enough to vote. What about all you out there? Who are you gonna vote for for the future of our own country. You gonna listen to what people tell you like the "HOPE & CHANGE" dumbo? I see change all right Obama . . . high gas prices . . . amazing how its over $1.50 just for a dozen of EGGS! Don't you realize this? As gas prices rise, it will take MORE money to fill your tank. How about the trucking industry? They take diesel . . . which is expensive! They need more money . . . and how do they get that? Therefore all the food prices rise. We're in a major depression right now . . . and a HUGE inflation! Did you know that? I know public school doesn't teach about it . . . instead Romeo & Juliet, Evolution, and Literal Equations are more important. Seriously? When will we use that stuff when we grow up?

I was home-schooled from 1st grade to 8th grade. In that time period . . . I learned more than the average graduate of a high school-er that has been in government school all their life. Don't believe me? Research it yourself. I'll tell you this, I DO have a 4.0 GPA. Everything that I'm learning in my school right now, I learned it last year! It's easier than cutting butter.

We need to step up and take control; of our lives. Our country where we live . . . the "land of the free." There aren't other countries out there that have freedom like we do. Be thankful. Don't take what you got for granted cause the way things are going right now? We can lose it all like that! Starting with the rise of gas, food, rent, and taxes. But your paycheck won't be going up will it?

Stop listening to the media . . . they aren't truthful. Stop listening to the people [*cough cough* TEACHERS] who tell you what to do. Stop listening to what everyone tell you . . . research and make sure its accurate. People are living their lives full of lies . . . I'm sure you'll find a bunch of those kinds of people in D.C.

I'm 16 years old, and THIS is what I want you to think about.

HOW IS MUSIC MADE?

Do you ever wonder, while you're listening to your favorite beat, how music is made?

Not the sounds for banging on any object can make music. But when someone makes remixes or remakes of your favorite songs. How are all those sounds put together? What does it look like?

That's what is looks like. The process of making music!

"Unplugged"

Today during seminar, we were represented with an idea.

"Social Experiment"

400 students in Washington are set to become ''unplugged.'' For one week, these teachers, students, and staff are going to see if they can quit Facebook, Twitter, texting and CELL PHONES! This is to see if they can encourage face-to-face communication which today is almost non-existant. Most business is completed via phones, emails, or other sources of communication outside the face-to-face business. How about you? How long can you go without using any electronics [excluding music etc.] or other devices? Me? I can probably last a week but it would be hard to resist checking up on my tweets or texts.
Are you going to accept the challenge? Only face-to-face communication? The world probably just stopped.

DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE!

Came across this song and just fell in love with it! If you listen very closely, you can tell what the meaning is. In case you can't figure it out, the person who wrote the letter is the guy who was caught robbing the store. He wasted his life...he doesn't want the other man to waste his. I'm not sure, but the man who got away with robbing the store (as an accomplice), I have an idea it was the man that received the letter. If you know, please leave a
comment and tell me! Thanks! =)

Penpals, school...ect.

Wow! Its has been sooo very long since I last posted on my blog! That's really bad! Lol. Well, sorry for the wait. Since school it out, I'm gonna try posting much much much more often! Lol. So, this is basically an update of what's going on in my life!
First thing, SCHOOL! Well....I finished April 30th with passing grades! My prize? A beautiful Tanzanite ring that I get to go to Mexico to get! How awesome it that? Anyway....moving on!
Lately I'v gotten attached to this one website called, Interpals. Basically its a website where you make a profile and then make friends with people all over the world and maybe even exchange address' and write each other letters! =) Well, it worked for me perfectly! I have a total of 6 penpals now! Here's where they are from!
- Germany
- Colorado
- Illinois
- Conneticut
- Russia
- Italy
That is really I-M-P-R-E-S-S-I-O-N-N-A-N-T!! Which leads right into the next topic! Lol
FRENCH:
Let me just say....French is a really cool language! So...therefore I decided to learn French for 2010 in my own! I will also be learning Spanish a an elective in High School but I'm gonna get taught that so that dosen't really count! Why does French count though? Cause I'm gonna learn it by myself! =) So far I'v only learned really basic words such as;
- Merci Beaucoup (Thank You Very Much)
- Bonjour or Salut (Hello)
- Impressionnant (Awesome)
- Votre Accueil (Your Welcome)
- Au revoir [Instead of saying that I just say, "bye bye"] (Bye)

See, pretty basic! Lol. But hey....its still French! So, as I learn to prounce and spell French, I'll let ya'll know what words I learn next! Keep you updated.....lol. =)
Well....moving on! Lol
Recently my Green Thumb has gotten greener (creepy!) Hehe! Well....Lowes is definently my garden buddy! =) Hehe. I recently bought begonias, vincas, impatiens, 1 african marigold, petunias and 7 bags of soil! Well.....you go to the clearance area in the garden section and pick out the greenest plants. You buy bags of soil that has holes in it cause they are MARKED DOWN! See....you can buy a bunch of stuff and get it fro practically nothing! Its called saving! in the economy prices are going UP and not DOWN! So, how do you get a lot but spend very little.
How to do it?
- Clearence
The merchandise may have holes in it but its still good! Like bags of regular top soil. Price, (Estimate) about $1.20....cause it has holes! Only about $.60! Now that a deal! Buy the annuals at the clearance/marked down section in your garden store. Annuals do die when the freeze hits so before that happens, take several clippings off the plant (As long as they are succulents) and place them in doors in a container of water! Roots will grow but keep them indoors till all fear of frost is over! Then plant them outside in your garden! Simple and easy but saves a lot of money!
Also....the best time to go to the store is on Mondays and Tuesdays. Why? Cause they put 3x more stuff on the Clearance area! NEVER go on Saturday's or Friday's!
- Sales
Stores do have sales you know! When you go to the store, try to but items that are only on sale. When you do find things that are on sale (And are non-perishable) BUY 3x MORE! You want to stock up as much as you can but remember to always have a budget and make sure you buy only however much you can use! Example, Cereal! Its non-perishable! If its, buy 1 get 1 free, get several of them cause each box will be half of the original price! That's a deal! When you want to buy things like toilet paper or paper towels, if you look at the unit price on each price tag where the item is located, buy the one that has more quanity of the item but is the cheepest! Scott toilet paper. Don't buy the 4 pack, by the super big one! That way you ave MUCH more than what you need to buy and it will be awhile before you have to buy some more! Along with paper towels! See, simple things like clearance items ans sales at stores can save you!
- Coupons
Well...this one is very simple! Get your local paper and gather all the coupons! Go through them and save any of them that you can use! Then when you go shopping....you will save because you have coupon$! Make sure to be friendly though! Clip the ones you can't use and place them in the grocery store! That way if someone stumbles upon them, they can save like you did!
- Yard Sales
"A man's junk can be another man's treasure!" Always go to yard sales if you can! People will buy stuff cause they HAVE to have it. Then they can't use it! So they sale it next to nothing!

Well...I sure hoped you liked what I had to say! Just let me remind you, everything above I wrote myself....see how smart I am! :)
Well....you read about what's going on so PLEASE leave a comment and tell me what you think!
Merci! Well...that's all!

God's Creations

Have you ever noticed how spectacular flowers are? Their petals, so perfectly shaped from the Father's Hand.

Their colors, perfectly blended. So, beautiful are they.

God's creations........

....are so awesome.

Sense

Came across this on YouTube this morning.

If I was deaf, I'd hear your voice.
If I was blind, I'd see your face.
If I was mute, I'd speak your name.
If I was lame, I'd walk in faith.
If I was numb, I'd feel your grace.
If I was dead, I'd know my place.
I gain my sense, from being true.

Because these things, all come from you

Thoughts...

Thoughts are whirling through my mind like a propeller on a gigantic airliner.
I am thinking of so many things I have finally received a headache.
I am wondering on how things are just so
How come they can't be different
Why is some people so idiotic?
Why are people so 'sorry' ?
If someone can see me hurting,
Why isn't anyone talking to me?
Why is just a sympathetic glance thrown at me in like...disgust?
I don't think I'm the only one here.
Its a whole universe.
I'm being singled out by my best friend
I'm being punished for committing
I'm being tortured by these thoughts...
Why??

This is something I wrote.

Broken and Beautiful

There’s a businessman, there’s a widowed wife
A smiling face with a shattered life
A teenage girl with a choice to make
It’s crowded here in church today

And the preacher says as the sermon ends
“Please close your eyes, bow your heads
Is there anyone in need of prayer,
Oh Jesus wants to meet you here”
Cause we all fall short, and we all have sinned
But when you let, God’s grace break in

(Chorus)
It’s Beautiful, Beautiful
Come as you are
Surrender your heart
Broken and beautiful

Well he’d never been to church before
But he came today as a last resort
His world was crashing in
And he was suffocating in his sin

But tears rolled down as hope rushed in
He closed his eyes, raised his hands
Worshipping the God who can
Bring him back to life again
(Chorus)

Rain

Today it rained off and on. I like it when it rains because I love the sound of it when is falls onto the roof. Also I like it because I know my garden is getting plenty of water. :)
But, aside all of that; rain. What a neat creation. I think rain is truly amazing. Not only is it pretty but its made of water (which I believe everyone knows). Today while I was 'cleaning' my room I was thinking about water. Water is actually scarce in some country's. Here we have the luxury to take a shower, get a glass of water, bathe the cat or dog, soak your feet, water your garden or make Kool-Aid whenever we want. I've actually have gone through an ordeal where there was no water available to do those things above(except the glass of water). So I can say for the most part, I know what it is like.

Next time it rains in your area, think how much it really means. You can actually see something for once that no matter what, you would never be able to create. Only God can. Definently not the smartest scienctist.
